The St. Francis of Assissi residential tower incorporates AGT’s unitized curtain wall in a unique design that posed significant design, manufacturing, transportation and installation challenges.
The four-sided structurally glazed units were fabricated in extremely large panels, measuring 7.5’ x 21’.
AGT designed custom lifting rigs to accommodate panel weight, and the complexities of installing at an inner city site. Custom anchors were also designed to efficiently secure the oversized panels to the building frame.
The project illustrates AGT’s commitment to custom design and engineering, as well as its ability to provide unitized product for even relatively small curtain wall installations. | |
